17.   In my neighbourhood, I see many birds like sparrows, pigeons, crows, and parrots. Their chirping in the morning is pleasant. However, some birds that were common earlier, like the cuckoo and bulbul, are seen less often now. One reason could be the cutting of trees and increasing pollution. Tall buildings and mobile towers also disturb their homes.

To protect birds, we should plant more trees and keep water and grains for them, especially in summer. Reducing pollution and avoiding loud noises can also help. People should not destroy nests or use harmful chemicals in gardens. Creating bird-friendly spaces in parks and backyards can give them a safe place to live. By taking these small steps, we can help birds stay in our surroundings and enjoy their presence for years to come.

[Date]

Dear Raj

I hope you are doing well. Today, I want to tell you about the importance of trees. Trees are very useful to us. They give us fresh air to breathe. They also give shade on hot days and fruits to eat. Trees also help birds and animals by giving them a place to live. They stop the soil from washing away when it rains. They make our world green and beautiful.

If we cut too many trees, the air will become dirty, and the weather will change. That is why we should plant more trees and take care of them.

I hope you also love trees as much as I do. Write back soon!

Yours Friendly

Vinay
